Seat alhambra has no indicators, hazard lights, remote or manual central lo?

My seat alhambra has no indicators, hazards, remote key central locking, manual central locking, boot lid will not open unless key is used & no demisting on rear window. When I activate the locking via tha manual key process it locks but the alarm lights flashes dim, then stops. Any help greatly appreciated

Brilliant! Great advice - indicators, hazards and locking gone. Thin red wire to battery was broken. Stripped and re attached - hey presto - goodness knows how much cash saved for a garage to run diagnostics and tear the car to bits. Many thanks Paddy!!!

just came across this site bud.
I had the same problem on my w reg 2.ol petrol.
On the positive battery terminal there is a thin red wire that bolts to the clamp.
Mine was broken and the break was in the main loom .
peel the insulation back to you find the other end of the wire.

The problem I have now is the remote locking won't work.(New fault) the fob batteries have been changed but still no good AArgh !
Can anyone help ?

Hi I had a similar situation with my 2002 Tdi. After checking all fuses in main fuse box I removed the plastic cover (under the bonnet) at the battery box and discovered another fuse box there! This has a hinged lid and when you lift it up the fuse at the front (3amp) seems to control this function (probably to another relay). I removed the fuse to check if it was blown and finding it wasn't replaced it and every worked! Strange as the fuse wasn't blown, hope this helps!
