Fantastic !
I went swimming with a 'waterproof' Raymond Veil. It was then full of condensation - All opened, stripped and dried out now - No more swimming with it !

Luke - you're a genius! Thanks. Was able to fix an old favorite watch.

in some of the modern watches you just need to hold the inside stem with a small plier and unscrew the winding head..hat simple

hi there
if you remove the back of the watch and look inside next to the stem of the winder there should be a small plate just below it if the button is on your left (glass down)
on this plate there will be a small divet push a blunt object into this divet and pull out the button dont force it too much the stem and button should then come out
the plate and divet may only be visable when the button is pulled into the potion to alter the time in some models
