Ford Radio/CD Player 4500 - Error code E83?

1. switch off the system.
2. switch on and press CD; it will display CD ROM or alike message
or press eject; it will show error E83
3. Press and hold eject for about 20 seconds
4. The cd will come out
5. If necessary, repeat the above steps.
6. If you don't succed see the dealer

You can try and tease it out using another (old) CD .
If you have the Security Keycode (ask a new question here if not, quoting your serial Number beginning M****** ) then the player will have to be extracted from the dashboard( Using a pair of Extractor keys available off Ebay or Halfords etc) , the casing removed, the CD released and the operating mechanism checked.
