finalizing problems with bush DVRHS02?

With dvd loaded, press Menu button on remote. The recorded title will appear on the screen. Use remote up arrow to display next box with PAL, DVD, EDIT. Use right arrow on remote to select next menu, which will include renaming and finalise procedures. Follow prompts on the screen. This worked first time for me. Many thanks to Sam B for info.

you little beauty, been trying to finalize disc for ages, this instruction is not in the manuals. Should be at the top of this page, i have upgraded my firmware and everything with no succes, probably given player new problems but at leaset i can finalize disc.

Hi Mark,

I've been in exactly the same boat as you! But today I cracked it, follow these instructions to finalise the disc:

1) Select DVD, go to the menu where you can choose the chapters you have created (by pressing the 'menu' button on the controller).

2) Press the 'up' arrow on the controller until a new menu appears with a box saying 'PAL, DVD, EDIT'.

3) Press the right arrow button and table will appear showing information about the disc. One of the pieces of information says 'Finalized: NO'.

4) Press right again until the fourth icon is selected called 'Finalized Disc', hit 'YES' and your away.
