Washing Machine Hoover AAA Whisper 1600 Error 3?

I fixed the problem by :- 1 emptying the machine by taking it outside and laying the outlet pipe on the ground. 2 unscrew the back plate. 3 lay the machine on it's side NOT front or back.4 take filter out unscrew the filter pump the two screws are just above the filter access .5 disconnect the hose from the back of the drum "jubilee type clip" then disconnect the other end from the pump "spring clip" wash the hose out (you might be lucky and find some money amongst the gunk like I did !). 6 disconnect the outlet pipe from pump "spring clip" tap against a wall "gently" then wash out.7 clean pump and drum outlet with kitchen roll.8 reassemble.

I had the same error - error no3.

The problem was the heating element. the current goes through the heating element during the spin cycle. Because the element was not working. the spin cycle would not work.

I spoke to Hoovber help desk, they said it was a filter problem
