Can't resolve a print quality horizontal banding issue. Have followed epson's manual and been on epson's chat line and discussed it with them (not helpful, unless you want to pay nearly the same price as the machine for them to repair it!). Nozzle check shows a .5 cm gap on lhs of bottom red line which hasn't cleared after numerous head cleans. Alignment is OK. Looks like I need to get inside it's workings but if I do, what am I looking for?
black ink doesnt print, but all other colours do. done all clean etc. changed black ink. still no luck
it says that the printer is jammed with paper but there is no paper stuck in the printer
Were pretty much the same with the problem that you have now.. Well if epson can't help you deal with your problem I sugest you call Supportrix. A friend of mine referred me to them and they were able to fix my problem in no time. I was totally satisfied with their customer service.
