Question - mend, repair, fix

How to repair leaking Maytag A612 washer?

My Maytag washer (20+ years old, Model A612) leaks CLEAR water during initial fill cycle and refill with clean rinse water. Only leaks sporadically, some times a lot, sometimes a little. I have removed front cover and leak originates at front right bottom corner. The hose along the inside right side of washer is damp at the bottom and back side near the bottom. I cannot see where the water is originating. I have observed the "slow leak" but not the "fast leak". Of course it won't cooperate and leak profusely when I have the cover off to see where it is coming from. Any suggestions?
