Any Solution?

Ferroli Optimax HE Plus 31C - fitter installed yesterday but getting the following code display - d2 followed by A3. (A03 ??)
The boiler does not seem to fire up
Can you help - he is waiting for Ferroli Help Centre to open Monday 9th Nov

Hi I've got the same boiler with the same problem. Flow sensor has been changed which didn't solve the problem. Latest fix is the over heat cut out time extended to 60 seconds or something...

I had a new Ferroli Optimax HE Plus 31C boiler installed three months ago and when I started using the heating more regularly I got the A3 code. Was able to reset at first then needed an engineer.

They tried changing a sensor and the pump but that didn't help. There was no circulation even though the boiler seemed to be working - eventually he found the problem was grit in the filter - looks like the installer scooped up some grit into the pipes when they were laid. Engineer cleared out the filter and it's working fine now - although I am getting the installer back in to flush the system!

Hi there..

We are in a new build with a Ferroli Combi and every so often it does the same thing,it just cuts out and shows the error code A3, during which there is no hot water and no heating. A reset sorts it out but it seems to do it again when there is a high demand for both heating and hot water..??
