having a similar problem at the moment with a 1.9 57 plate renaualt traffic, loss of acceleration until you get to 2600 revs, the glow plug comes on intermitantly.
Oil, air filter, fuel filter change and a system flush but nothing seems to work.
Looking on the net there seems to be a very very common fault on Renault vans and cars

modern common rail diesels dont need glow plugs for starting, they are purely for emmission purposes.the glow plug lamp does only come on for one second, this is a circuit check only.get the vehicle code read and act on any codes.if none present check live data, paying particular attention to fuel rail pressure.common rail diesels will not even think about starting untill rail pressure is at least 250 bar
