Mend Canon Control Cooker Top

How can I fix the oven/grill dual control?

I have a Canon Pearl Duo Cooker and the top oven/grill operates from the same control knob. The oven works fine but when we try to turn on the grill the knob will not turn. Occasionally it does work but more often it doesn't. Has anyone got any idea how I can fix this please.
