when I try to engage either forward or reverse nothing happens.Idon`t have a manuel so I`m asking how to adjust the linkage if that is what iI need to do ,THANKS

More likly to be a damaged or broken belt, make sure the hydro unit is not in bypass, there will be a lever at the back or under the seat to engage/dissengage the unit
