It will not spin until all water has drained. So fix the drain problem. The humming sound you hear is the drain pump trying to spin but can't. Probably has something stuck in it. Bail as much water out by hand using a small jug. Then tip machine back against the wall. Look under on front right hand side for the drain pump (has a small cooling fan blade on it. Give the fan a few turns back & forward and see if it comes free. If it does stand machine up and try the spin cycle. Hopefully the pump will keep running and empty the last of the water. If not then you will have to remove the pump and clear out any rubbish by hand.
