Mend Kind System Switched

Shimmering LCD monitor?

MY LCD monitor is increasingly prone to a kind shimmering effect.

It starts when the system has been switched on for a while, and is temporarily cured by rebooting.

Can I fix this please or do I need to buy a new monitor?

My Medion monitor has the same problem; just traced to a fault with the cable where it is hard wired into the back of the monitor. Yours may be plugged in, which would make it easier to replace if it's faulty. Try a friend's cable.
