We have Samsung Side by Side Fridge/Freezer. Fridge has stopped cooling. Freezer still working, although it seems a little struggling. Have turned off power for 30 minutes, but no change in fridge performance, freezer has worked better and 'Power Freeze' has dropped temp sufficiently. 'Power Cool' system makes no difference to fridge temperature either. We cannot hear any fans running of fridge side. Have we lost fridge charge? Has a cold air transfer fan failed?? Please help as we have a fridge full of food going to go off.
there is a recognised fault with this fridge. you need to call 0870 726 7864 and have your serial number to hand (on the left, inside of fridge), and date of purchase. Samsung will fix this for free.

I took the back cover, located in the fridge behind the two bottom drawers (just 4 cross headed screws), and found the drain below the fan and one of the cool air vents frozen solid.
I defrosted the lines using the wifes hair dryer, don't tell her. Fitted everything back together, a little harder to refit than to take out.
Fridge has returned to operating normally.
If this re-occurs, I may have to take you up on the sensor offer. Thanx for the info though.
