how can i change my 98 lesabre?

the key will go into the cylinder but neither of the keys i have will release the ignition. ive lubricated the cylinder with a small amount of wd 40 the keys have the magnetic strip what i need to know is how to safely remove and replace the cylinder. the car is equipped with srs
