fitting the thomostats?

I have the hotpoint TC71 Condensor Drier. I have purchased a theromostat kit consisting of a green spot and a one shot thermostat could you tell me which way round these are fitted as viewd from the back as the paper work with the thermostats suggest differntly to what i see on the back of the machine
