How do i change bearings on Zanussi ZWD 1260W washing Machine?

whole drum has to come out and be stripped.some models and tubs can't have the bearings changed as they are sealed units and you have to buy a whole new inner drum complete.either way its a big job and if the drum needs replacing will cost you half the price of the machine!
