Ensure you fit the correct cap,

most likely be the 2 uf Rex Capacitor Relay cap fiffed on your model,not the 8 uf start cap,

check the cap fitted before you order,

probably a weak capacitor.the capacitor is used to start the motor.if you push the drum and it then rotates ok until it changes direction the capacitor is fav
