My Hoover 5050ED dryer won't start tumbling by itself anymore. We have to spin it by hand & then quickly close the door to get it to go. This works but sometimes it stops if the load is too heavy & we have to keep doing it. It will only take a small load now. Is this fixable? Thanks! Heather
Anything is fixable. It will be a motor start capacitor that needs replacing, it will have failed and no longer gives the motor enough strength to get moving. Just not sure on that model if it will be down near the motor or actually on the control board.
