Hi all. i was out in my 2001 citroen berlingo van 1.9 diesel for about 10 mins.
stoped the engine then i went back to it after about 15 mins and it will not start
at all. i've cheacked the heater plugs and they are okay
there is diesel in the filter and i've undone the pipes from the
diesel punp to the injecters all 4 of them turned it over and no diesel
at all. there is lots of diesel in the tank
Hi. yes the timing belt is okay. i do fix car engines for a living but i don't fix diesel pumps. i'm going to have a go a this one
diesel pump is doing lots of clicks when i turn the key as it should and diesel is getting to it but nothing is coming out

do you know how to take the cover off so i can get to the fuel cut off solenoid

If the timing belt was broken the engine should be locked up.Very likely its an immobilizer fault in the pump solenoid. Common enough thing to happen with them. Replace the solenoid with a non immobilizer one. Not a small job though.
