Where do i find the reverse light switch?

what type of vehicle do u have?, year , make, model , size engine

u really should say what car it is m8.that would be a great help.but whatever it is it wont be inside the gearbox.it will be easy to get too.on the top or the side of the gearbox with a plug with 2 wires coming out of it.to test it.pull the plug off,bringe the pins in the plug with a bit of wire or whatever,if the lights come on its the switch.
