How can I unlock my secure stereo?

the rover 200 has a rover radio tape player i got the code but i cant get rid of error lite on the front of radio can i put code in still thanks

How about some information on the make and model of the stereo in question? ... thanks.
If it is the original stereo for the car, the car maker will have the required code and you will need to contact them for it, they will ask for details from the registration document (VIN No etc)
Dont try guessing the code, further attempts will mean you have to have the stereo returned to manufacturer for recalibration.
