Mend Tefal GV8960 Iron Heating Lights

tefal steam generator iron not heating up ?

i have a tefal pro express steam generator iron . it turns on ok and lights up but the bottom of the iron is cold but on part of it there is a very small part that feels slightly warm ( the iron plate itself ) . and if i push the steam button it makes the noise but just gurgles .
what should i replace ?

this is a follow up Q to my last one . the iron itself does not light up and the plate is cold . i have pushed the steam button and the steam works from the generator . what do i need to replace in the iron itself to make it work again no light on the iron and cold iron base plate . thanks
