How can I fix my Panasonic microwave model NN 9850?

Thank you for your advice.

The door opening button is a single piece of plastic/PVC material and has no metal parts and also no electrical wiring. The part is available from www.repairclinic.com under part no. 761089. Please let me know whether your original advice still stands after viewing the part. I just want to be absolutely sure before doing anything that may endanger myself.

Stop using it and buy a new one. The effects of microwave radiation are deadly. DO NOT ATTEMPT A DIY REPAIR!!!
