Hyundai lantra 1.8 1996/7 valve clearances?

Can someone advise me of valve clearances on Lantra 1.8. 1997 (NZ) Also any other advice on setting them ie hot or cold, possible snags etc

Hi Mike, the tappets are not adjustable as they are hydraulic and should be self adjusting, if they are making a noise then the lifter has stuck, you might be lucky and run some engine oil flushing solution through the engine it might clear the fault if not you will have to replace the lifter(s)
