How can you fix a hole in a guitar?

There is a small hole in the very corner of the body of my acoustic guitar. It's about as wide as the tip of my pinky nail, and is pretty thin. It doesnt go far down much, and isnt that noticeable, but it is to me. Are there any simple and cheap ways to fix it?

the best way to fix this is give it to an expert but if your like me {broke} if you can feel the rise in the wood rub it down with fine sandpaper but be careful the woods thin so dont make the hole bigger then just put a few coats of clear nail varnish over it this will seal the gap and hopefully give you the resonance back in your g/tar good luck and happy playing

SORRY! if you try to put any substance on your guitar you will deaden the sound of it sometimes it can cause it not to vibrate at all. then what would you do?
if the hole isn't noticeable to anyone but you leave it alone. or you could ask WILLIE NELSON ABOUT THE HOLE IN HIS GUITAR!!!

you can use wood filler (available from any good diy shop) try get a filler that matches your guitar in colour and shade. once you have appiled it wipe off excess with a damp cloth, allow to dry and then carefully apply a layer of clear nail varnish to the repair. That should do the trick
