It sounds like your computer has lost its memory. Try easy first steps like showing your computer pictures of itself with the scanner this should jog the computers memory.

You have to have Vista drivers, older ones will not work. As Tiny went out of business some years ago, I suggest that you bin it and buy a new one - you've had you money's worth from it.
