I installed a game, and now cannot remove it using control pannel?

I installed a game on my laptop, the game didnt work and takes up a large amount of memory, now i cant remove it. Ive tried the uninstall function on the cd, and tried to remove it from control pannel, neither works, and now my laptop keeps shutting down due to low virtual memory, can you please help.

Look to see if there is information on the game manufacturer's website detailing how to uninstall the game manually. (Lots of software companies do publish this information.)

Are you using XP? You could try reverting to one of your Restore Points.

Last restort/dirty method might be to delete the game's folders in your C:\Program Files folder and then use a registry cleaner.
