First remove the wand/handle/hose assembly. Then remove the dirt container. This will reveal a screw located in the front just under the on/off switch. Remove this screw and turn the vacuum around so that you are looking at the back of it. Push the two tabs that are holding the front cover in place until it pops off. Voila!
