TV won't turn on?

I have a Digiman 32" flatscreen that i switch off using the TV's power switch each night. This morning, the TV won't turn on. The kettle lead that powers it is working fine and the wall socket is fine so it is definately the telly.

When trying the switch, nothing happens, no standby light, no strange noises, nothing.

Could it just be a faulty switch or potentially soemthing more?
