Heating element component?

Have a bad component on the heating coil. I assume it's a resistor, although it has a capacitor symbol on it. The numbers on it are 126 UM1 2A 250W
I've spent an hour googleing and can't find a place to buy a replacement. Used to be you could go down to radio shack and pick this kind of stuff up, but even their web site returns no results.

Any ideas?
Thanks

This picture of a thermal fuse show a symbol similar to the one you describe...

May find one on line or from a domestic appliance spares outlet.

Good luck...

Sorry, it's actually a dehydrator, and thermal fuse is most likely right. Do they have a symbol similar to half a battery on them T with a longer line above the T?

If so, any idea where I can get one? It's my stepson's favorite thing to do and hate to buy a new one when I can just solder a new fuse? in.

Thanks

It's probably not a resistor and very unlikely to be a capacitor - you don't mention the appliance type, make or model but I think it may be a thermal fuse - probably 126° C and it's probably in a toaster oven - but all this is guessing..
