fiat ducato 2.8JTD disel will only fire on the second attempt?
I have a CI Mizar 2004 with a fiat 2.8JTD ducato engine. on the first attempt the engine turns over but won't fire most of the time and always starts on the second attempt every time?
I have been to two garages to carry out dianostic checks on the engine and found two faults.The TDC sensor and a camshaft sensor these have now been replaced with new parts. I still have the same problems. Any suggestions
i have the same problem with my mclouis motorhome,
i have always wondered if it was the alarm/immoblizer on it. its a sigma system

I have the exact same problem on my 2006 Eura Mobil 2.8 JTD
I think I just have to live with it

have the same problem on a burstner motor home,
had it checked out and was told the fault code was cam/crank sensor sync fault ?
havent replaced them yet need more info.

I would try the heater plugs it sound like there all not woking or perhaps the timer's faulty
