You can try adjusting the shoulder seam by shortening it. It's pretty easy to do by hand if you don't have a sewing machine. Unfortunately this may affect the bust fit but it's been my experience that if the armhole is too large the bust isn't in the right place on me anyway and needs to be raised. Hope this helps.
