my psp power green light gets on but nothing appear on screen/?

Hi ! everyone.I was updating my psp2000 to 5.00 version using Wlan internat and i was charging it side by side.When i was updating it a message was coming ''do not remove AC adaptor,do not switch off the Psp,do not remove the memory stick''.It was going all right suddenly a power cut came and my Psp switched off.When I switched it on, the power green light started but the screen didnt show anything and after few seconds the green light also switched off. Pleeeeeeeeeease help Thak u
