The brackets fit on to a peg with an oval shaped fitting. To fit them correctly you have to lay the ribber upside down on a flat surface.Turn each bracket through 90 degrees towards the outside of the machine, fit them over the pegs so that the oval piece comes through the groove and turn them down into the correct position.
