Have the same problem when you put on the imboliser.
Had to remove inner panel and hit the plastic cover at the end of the door with the wooden end of a hammer. Had to do this quite a few times, also using the remote control.
This doesn't cure the problem but at least i got the door open and don't use the imboliser.
Have disconnected the battery then re-attached, this did work but it may be coincidence and haven't had a problem since
