it`s called a bonding gutter made from fibre glass with sand down the middle NOT either side as that is a fiber glass valley and not what your after if your not a roofer which your not it could be rather - very difficult for you to do as cuting of slate is traditional and difficult and doing it and knowing where and how to nail them makes all the difference between a dry loft and a wet one :)

u hav to strip next doors side ov th valley out first ,easy way is to mark each slate = first slate number 1 and so on so that they go back same place ,u will need a slate cutter and holer to make holes in th small slates that go back, measure how long th valley is go to roofing supplies and ask them for fibreglass valley troughs, lay first trough in valley under battens .battens should come to th edge ov th grove on th trough then nail battens down to hold trough in place .place other valley trough on top ov first trough over lapping it and under battens then nail down battens. put next doors number 1 slate on to start the valley, mark 6inches across from edge ov next doors first slate then u got your valley width.tools u need are =slate ripper=slate cutter with holer=slate nails or plasterboard nails as they are cheaper.
