if it is a GB built car with the buttons in the key, all you have to do is ,
1. Open drivers door and leave open.
2. Place key in ignition and turn to ON. (Do NOT turn to START.) Leave for 10 seconds.
3. Press unlock button on key twice.
you should now hear locks cycling, once they have stopped the system should be working from your key buttons.
