Internet connection wont hold?

Microsoft Windows XP Version 2002 Service Pack 3
Wireless Router This is the "Host" Desktop.
It has Spybot, Malwarebytes Ant-Malware (free version
) and Symantec Endpoint. All are current.

The issue is the desktop whenever restarted can connect to the internet but after 4-5 page views I get "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage." This happens no matter what website I am aiming to go to. Even one of the earlier 4-5.

The laptop used to connect wireless never has this issue. No matter if the desktop is on, off, connected or unable to connect. So the issue must be on the desktop and not a router issue.

Spybot finds DoubleClick and DSO Exploit. I understand these are not true virus'. The other two virus protectors find nothing.

So there must be something unwanted on the desktop that is killing my ability to view websites. Email via Outlook Express is not having issues.

I've been running the same set up for years without issue. Then about three weeks ago this fun came along.

Any suggestions on what to look for that would be blocking my internet access or what to use to help identify the culprit?
