No Net work adaptor?

Yes thank you for your help T. Its a Broadband package i'm trying to set up . Its from Eircom .The router Is a ZYxel. I have installed it already on my old computer which has died on me . now i'm attempting to install it on this computer I got which is a HP Compaq . But when the disc try's to install the broadband on the computer I get a error massage says the set up cant find any New work Adaptor on my computer ..Thanks again maybe this explain things better ,,Yours G.

You need to fit a network adapter (e.g. Ethernet) or repair the one that is installed. The latter course may be as simple as installing new drivers.

BTW if you need more you need say a LOT moire about what the "modem". (I suspect that may not even be a modem.)
