The menu on my Panasonic TV TX-68P200A keep appearing for no reason?

Various menus or tv operations appear on the screen at random times for no reason. For example the Picture menu would appear, go through the options and select Dynamic, then select Set Up Menu, go to Geomagnetic and select, scroll a bit more then close. This would be repeated on a random basis. Now it is showing the Panasonic logo followed by the Volume bar - again on a random, repeated basis.

We've tried turning the tv off (at the wall) overnight and also removing all batteries from all remotes in case that was the issue.

Any clues? Or perhaps we have a bored poltergeist...
