Land Rover is a British car manufacturer with its headquarters at the Gaydon site near Gaydon, United Kingdom which specialises in four-wheel drive vehicles. It is owned by Indian company Tata Motors, forming part of its Jaguar Land Rover subsidiary

The car manufacturer has poached Saab's executive sales director Adrian Hallmark, and has appointed him Jaguar's global brand director.

The group has also changed the role of John Edwards, currently Land Rover UK and Central Europe’s managing director. He has been made global brand director of Land Rover and will take on global responsibility for the brand.

Phil Popham, Land Rover’s managing director, has been made Jaguar Land Rover’s director of global sales and service operations. He will take on responsibility for the global sales and after-sales operations across both the Jaguar and Land Rover brands, managing the firm’s national and regional business units and its worldwide dealer network.

Finally, Mike Wright, currently Jaguar Land Rover’s director of customer services, has been handed the new role of executive director of the group.

The four appointees take on their new roles on 1 December, when they will also become members of Jaguar Land Rover’s executive committee. They will report directly to the Jaguar Land Rover chief executive, Dr Ralf Speth.
