Scantronic 9651 Global Tamper Front Door - call Engineer on Display?

Hi,

Moved into our house a year ago, we have Scantronic 9651.
Just Changed my front door, as the fitter removed the the old frame the Alarm went off which I then stopped, now the disply shows "Global Tamper Front Door Call Engineer".
I've read through the Hardwired Control Panel guides for both Installation and User Guide and can not work out what to do?

Can Anybody please advise??

looks like the front and back doors are on zone one so when you omit these you will be ok,but then we need to deal with the global tamper,

I hope they are, the previous owner did not leave any proper info apart from the following

Zone A = front door,lounge,back door,kitchen,down hall, up
Zone B = front door,back door,lounge,kitchen down hall
Zone C = front door,back door,lounge
Zone D = front door,back door,hall up,lounge,kitchen

if any of that is useful??

ok,go to the panel,key in 01,press the tick then press o till the panel reads un,then come back

Can I remove The Zone please, would there be a zone for the back door aswell as too had a door contact?

good,now you can either fix the cable and door contact,or remove the zone one from the system,what would you like to do?

Hi gts,

i've entered the 0 then 7890 and it has gone into installer mode,

I've had both my front and back doors changed would that mean removing both front and back?

yes you can,but alas you need the engineering code .the factory code is 07890,try keying that in,if it shows installer mode,then your ok,try it and get back to me,
if you get the installer mode up,do not touch any button untill you come back here

Unfortnatley, the previous owner had wired that doors contacts badly from the top so when the olf frame came it took out allot of the wire which was then cut by the fitter.
The installation guide does give a Engineers Defualt Code.
I'm not sure how to use it or what to do?
Can I remove the Door contact setting and just use the PIR's??

if you have the engineering manual,then you will have the engineer code,if its not been changed by the installer

the wire on the door contact has been cut,repair it and replace the door contact,once you have done that,try keying in your code to reset,if it wont,then its the engineering code you will need.joiners do this all the time,
you would think they would know better,
