Found the answer - buy a new chip - but make sure it is a modern one. They cost £250+++ from Fiord garages and generally I have found that Ford dealers DO NOT understand the Sat Nav at all.
You can find several 'offers' of chips on the internet - but they can be old stock - not worth the gamble - latest issue as of Feb 013 = 2011 maps
No manuals come with the chip / Sat Nav
Very poor support or help from any Ford source
