why is my brand new Beko WME7247 washer not working?

My Beko WME7247 with LCD display is not working. It stays on wash, the timer does not count down and it wont rinse or spin etc. I phoned Beko customer services today and they told me to unplug it for 2 hrs and then press any 2 buttons simultaniously for 5 seconds and that would reset the machine to factory settings. I did this when i got home put a new load of washing in and its still not working. My house stinks with half washed clothes all over the place as iv bin trying to wash our clothes since weekend. Please help before i murder this machine!!

It finishes the cycle, concluding "end" but the machine is full of water as the spin has not completed

switch on and then press and hold the start button in for 5 seconds and see if that resets it.also remove the filter at the bottom and shine a torch in to the filter housing and check if anything is jammed in the drain pump impeller
