how to fix non starting renault megane coupe 1.6 auto s reg?

hi i have a friends renault megane coupe sport 1.6l petrol automatic on a s reg ie 1998 its not starting it was fine the other day then went to start again didnt work its not sparking ive tried grounding the spark plugs out and changed them ht leads fiine coil packss fine immobiliser not an issue however the fuel pump seemms to be making a noise but when i took the spark plugs out they were dry i dont know what the hell it could be now its really doing my head in all symptoms sound like immobiliser but immobilier has been shut off
