In the past I have fixed problems like this by:

1. Removing the battery ASAP.

2. Carefully removing the PCB.

3. Rinse it all thoroughly in fresh water.

4. Either leave it to dry naturally or use a hair drier.

5. When you are sure that it is **completely** dry, even under the components, reassemble it.

6. Insert the battery and hope for the best.

If it has been left too long before rinsing, the contamination may be very difficult to remove. I would not advocate leaving it to dry out first.

In the past i have rescued mobiles that have been submerged in liquid, but only provided that the battery had been removed immediately and the phone had not been switched back on until all the parts were completely dry. If this is the case then an airing cupboard or similar warm (not hot like a radiator) area should make a nice home for your phone for a couple of days til its dry! People tend to get impatient and try and turn their phone on to see if it works before its dry but all this does is allow the water (or juice!) to bridge connections on the circuit board and fry their phone for good. Hope youve not turned it on yet.
