how can i fix my cambelt ( timing belt ) renault laguna 2001?

my question iz tht my timing belt is broken down ... so i want to know iz it possible tht it effected my volves of the car or not ?? because engine still got power before opening the head i want to know if there any chance tht the volves are ok??
