warning lights on a renault scenic (02 reg)?

i have a renault scenic (02 reg) and when i go over 3000 revs the battery light and the stop light come on. once i slow back down to around 2000 revs it goes off. it has never done it before and seems to be driving fine. wondered if anyone has any ideas what it could be. thanks melissa

This is the Renault electrics gremlin at work. It's built in to all Renaults and wreaks havoc when you least expect it. Unless you can find a good local auto electrician, it will mean a trip to the main stealership to get it sorted.
