my hotpoint ariston dishwasher is showing fault code a3?

my ariston hotpoint dishwasher model number lff 8214 last week was showing fault code a5, which was the fault code for a new pressure switch, he has fitted a new pressure switch, but now the machine is coming up with fault code a3, the machine is now trying to drain all the time and no water seems to be coming in.
